I\'m a dentist who has practised dentistry full time since graduating in 1975. I left the NHS system in 1980 as I wanted to provide quality dental care in an unhurried environment. Over the years I hope I have achieved this. My main quarrel with the CQC is that I feel it is not required in dentistry. I am already regulated by the GDC. I am also a Denplan Excel member. The only thing the CQC will achieve in my practice is to increase overhead to no good purpose. I have received no official registration form yet. I don\'t even know how much it will cost to register. Dentistry should not be included in this group in my opinion, but my opinion will undoubtedly not stop this experimental government juggernaut. Another bill to work extra hours to pay.
